With a mix of gratitude and reflection, the editors announce the closure of the Journal of Transformative Touch. (Launched as the International Journal of Zero Balancing and Transformative Touch in 2020). The journal will publish its final issue in June 2025, welcoming your submissions through April 2025. While the Journal’s mission to share insights and research into transformative touch has always been at the heart of what we do, we experienced challenges in building the readership, submissions, and support necessary to sustain the journal long-term.
The editors deeply appreciate the contributions of every author, reviewer, and reader. Your engagement has helped build a platform that showcases the power of skilled touch across modalities in a unique way. We are proud of the knowledge and stories we have shared together. In over four years of publication, we’ve had nearly 7,000 downloads from 114 countries.
Although the journal will no longer continue operation, the journal’s website will remain accessible as a lasting archive of the work showcased on our pages. As long as The Keep, the journal hosting service, remains available, the website will serve as a resource for accessing past issues and content. Read the journal here: https://thekeep.eiu.edu/ijzbtt/
